So I re-read my post from February. I sounded so optimistic! But, dear reader, as more information became available, I rethought my original position. As a result of a FDA report issued on Feb. 14, 2017, we have decided to pull EVERY SINGLE CANNED ITEM manufactured at Evangers facilities from our shelves. I'd be lying if I said I struggled with this decision. The fact that the FDA report detailed conditions in the Evanger's facility that are not "humane grade" quality made the decision to remove these products actually very easy. One of the promises of this store is that we wouldn't feed anything to our pets that we wouldn't eat. So, we removed those products that didn't meet that requirement. If and when the companies that were produced at Evangers or Evangers itself proves that they are actually producing the product that they claim it to be, we'll re-visit bringing those items back in. But - for now and the foreseeable future - these companies canned foods are not available at Auggie's Doggies:
